Wow, where did the year go? The months seemed to fly by, one season blending into next. I was blessed with 12 months of work...at times, more than I could handle!! I learned some hard lessons, tooks some falls, but picked myself up and kept going....(in my spare time, I am a marathon runner, so I have a stubborn drive!!), but I saw my sales grow month by month as I developed a steady customer base. My facebook fan base grew from about to 60 to close out the year at 1000!! I opened up Jelly Cakes on Etsy where I feature cupcake/cake toppers and keepsake party favors.There were a few stretches that I had close shop to try and keep up with the orders, and my blogging and social networking got put on the back burner. There were many late, late nights, and lots of days of rushing to the PO at 4:25 with clay under my nails and in my hair. My husband has become a pretty good cook, and the kids can handle everything from laundry to vacuming....without their support and patience, Jelly beads would not be.
Aside of bead making, the year included 4 marathons, 3 half ironmans, sports events for 5 children, a part-time job as a fitness instructor, and a litter of 6 puppies!!
